M.M. in Music Theory Pedagogy

The Master of Music in Theory Pedagogy program offers research and teaching experiences in preparation for Ph.D. work in theory and for collegiate teaching. These experiences include educational psychology, pedagogy of theory, advanced theory studies and a teaching practicum. This degree may be combined with a M.M. in Performance to broaden college teaching opportunities. Download a sample Course of Study plan (PDF).

Additional Degree Requirements

Successful completion of the departmental Keyboard Proficiency Examination or MUTH 6010 is required.
