Biography

Craig is married to Nina Flournoy, a senior lecturer at SMU. He is the father of three daughters.

Distinctions

1986 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. Finalist for the 1997 Pulitzer Prize for Beat Reporting.
Other national awards: the American Bar Association’s Silver Gavel Award; the Associated Press Managing Editors Association’s Public Service Award; the Investigative Reporters and Editors’ Medal for Outstanding Investigative Reporting; the Worth Bingham Prize for Investigative Reporting; the Scripps Howard Edward J. Meeman Award for Environmental Reporting.
