Principal of C. Norwood & Associates, LLC, Dallas, Texas, since 2001 Cecilia Norwood has been teaching students both personal financial skills and how to expand their communications skills to business and financial constituencies such as stockholders, bondholders, bankers, rating agencies, financial media and others, through CCPA 4386, Financial Communication.
Every spring Norwood also teaches strategic communications to international students in Rouen, France, through an Executive MBA programme at ESC, a leading French graduate business school recognized for its quality and rigor by the Financial Times and through its EQUIS and other leading European accreditations.
Before teaching, Norwood worked at several global corporations including Electronic Data Systems Corp. (now part of Hewlett Packard) as VP Global Communications, at The Southland Corp. (now 7-Eleven Corp.) as VP Corporate Communications, and at Exxon Corp. U.S.A. (now ExxonMobil Corp.) in regional and district marketing management.
