Recommended for mature high school students who are interested in pursuing art in college, our life drawing workshops allow students to draw figures from life using a variety of mediums and grounds. Using SMU's spacious art studios, students create figurative pieces with a nude model during each three hour session. Each workshop utilizes different techniques over the different dates. Small class sizes and professional studio space ensure that each student receives personal attention and freedom to grow as an artist.

2012-2013 Life Drawing sessions are on select Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2-5 p.m. and take place in the Owen Arts Center at SMU. Please meet the instructor in the lobby of the Owen Arts Center at the beginning of each session.
