Carl Thompson

Adjunct Lecturer

Carl brings over twenty years of practical advertising experience to the classroom.  Throughout his career he has served a variety of functions including Director of Client Services, Director of Strategic Planning and most recently Director of Business Development. 

His agency background includes stints at Ogilvy & Mather, the former Temerlin McClain, GSD&M, The Loomis Agency, Joiner Rowland Serio and most recently the interactive agency Blue Clover. 

His client category experience includes: Sears, Subaru, Dairy Queen, Lennox International, Diageo, Boyd Gaming, and a host of others ranging from consumer package goods to technology.

His approach to teaching account management stresses both strategic thinking combined with the skill sets necessary to successfully develop into the role of trusted advisor for clients.
