In your engineering courses, you acquire the technical expertise to solve engineering problems. At the Center for Engineering Leadership, we believe in developing “the whole engineer,” helping you build broader skills and giving you the tools you need to influence diverse environments and pursue your ambitions.

We partner with those in the industry to create your personal plan for professional success – at no additional cost to you. Early exposure to corporate leadership tools, such as 360° feedback, customized development plans, and leadership coaching will help you build confidence and gain an understanding of how the process of becoming a leader works once you’ve completed your degree program.

The Center provides multiple opportunities to immediately practice leadership skills in our Co-op & Internship Programs, leadership seminars and workshops, community engagement projects, and mentoring relationships. Whether it’s being an individual contributor, leading a project team, managing a lab, presenting research, or pursuing entrepreneurial aspirations, the Center for Engineering Leadership will help fast-track you towards your desired result.
