What is the Camp for Girls at SMU?
This week-long half-day program is designed for girls entering 7th-10th grade in Fall 2012. Girls explore engineering through hands-on, interactive projects which show how engineering is related to social concerns, community interest and individual development. Objectives of the camp include:
- Hands-on engineering experience through team project.
- Discover careers in engineering from Dallas-based female engineers.
- Learn about college: applications, entrance essays, financial aid.
- Make new friends that share your interest in math, science and engineering!
Eligibility
Camp is open to all girls who will be entering the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th grades in Fall 2012.
Girls and boys entering 11th and 12th grade should consider the Lyle Engineering Innovation Camps.
Application
A Liability Release and a Photo Release form must be completed and returned with payment before an an application is considered to be complete. Forms may be mailed to:

Cost

Important Note
Applications are not considered complete until the necessary forms have been submitted and payment has been received. Lyle Summer Programs will send registrant's a confirmation of attendance by email after application, liability release form, photo release form, a camp fee are received.
