Summers in the Dallas area are quite warm. Dress cool and wear comfortable shoes for walking. Check the forecast for chances of rain that week and come prepared with an umbrella and rain gear.

Vending machines are also available. Coffee will be available each morning and bottled water and light snacks will be available throughout the day.

The Magnolia Hotel is the most convenient hotel with complimentary shuttle service to campus. It is also about a 10 minute walk from campus. Be sure to ask for the special SMU rate when you book your reservation. Click here for a list of other hotels in the area.

Parking is covered by The Infinity Project. Moody Garage, Airline Garage, and Binkley Garage are the most convenient parking lots. Do not park in any areas not designated for registered vehicles. Citations for doing so are issued by campus police in the amount of $30, for which The Infinity Project cannot be responsible. Click here for maps and information. (Note: Caruth Hall is building 52 on the map.)

You will receive your parking permit to place on the dash. At the bottom of the permit is a code that you will use to enter either garage. You must place this permit on your dash or you will receive a citation from the SMU Police.
