In her current role as Director of the Infinity Project, Rosemary Aguilar is responsible for the development and delivery of the professional development for secondary school educators. She has also helped to grow the program with the development of middle school engineering curriculum and expansion of the high school curriculum. She has also served as project prime for development and maintenance of TEA’s (Texas Education Agency) Career and Technology Education online professional development courses in engineering.
Rosemary’s background includes experience in the classroom as an educator of mathematics and computer science at the secondary level. Her experience in the corporate environment includes employee and customer training and documentation in the telecommunications industry, having held several management positions at Nortel and Samsung Telecommunications. She has been with the Infinity Project since 2004.
Rosemary currently serves and represents SMU on the DFW Technology Education Council. She also volunteers her time in the community, serving on several boards. Rosemary is a graduate of Leadership Texas ’08 and Leadership America ‘11. She is originally from New Mexico, enjoys traveling, photography as a hobby, and spending time with her family which includes two beautiful grandchildren. She and her husband live in Plano, Texas.
