Dan Sherrill, Civil Engineer:
"I normally live in Korea (retired from USAF, working as civil engineer), but am now in Guam for awhile. I went through the whole (10 course) systems engineering program and graduated in May 2005. Basics were:
- Videos were received via my PSC box at Osan AB, with only about 7 days delay, or less. No problems. (Professors are all aware of the time delay for students outside of Dallas area)
- I took my exams at the USAF Education Center, Osan AB. No problems with the scheduling, due to my retired military status.
- The courses are very well-designed, with outstanding professors. They covered a wide range of engineering topics, and made it all interesting. Dr. Stracener and the other professors are some of the best I have seen (in my own 35 years as student or college instructor).
- I highly recommend this program to anyone with some engineering background, located anywhere in the Asia-Pacific area. It is one of the best opportunities available at graduate level."
Doug Mainz:
“I liked my experience with SMU's distance learning Masters program so much, I'm looking to do more.”
James Bolin:
“Thank you for the personal attention. I enrolled last summer in engineering management with SMU distance learning. I couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks again.”
