Enroll now! If you enroll after June 5, 2014, for Summer Term and August 29, 2014, for Fall Term you will need to submit your payment at the time you enroll.
- Check Access.SMU for course availability at https://my.smu.edu by using Class Search.
- Write down the class number of the course/section you wish to take on course request form. The class number is listed in the middle column of each course listing in the Schedule of Classes file at the right.
- For on campus classes, use section 001, for distance students out of Dallas/Fort Worth, use section 401, for distance students in Dallas/Fort Worth (zip codes 75XXX 76XXX), use section 418, Active Duty Military students use section 498 (contact Janis Jessen for permission as an Active Duty Military student). Fax completed course request form to (214) 768-3778 (Summer term sections have an extra digit "3" as the last digit of the section number).
- Payment Due Date are May 23, 2014, for Summer Term and August 19, 2014, for Fall Term. If enrolling on or after this date, tuition payment is due upon enrollment. Make payment using the webpay link below as a “Guest”. If your payment is not received within this timeframe, you will be assessed a late payment fee.
You will need your SMU ID number and tuition amount to make payment. If you don’t know your ID number, e-mail Janis Jessen. Make your payment at webpay to pay, as a “Guest”.
NOTE: After your first semester, you will conduct your own enrollment on Access.SMU.edu. Enrollment procedures are found on our registration page, which is updated each term under “Current Student Enrollment Instructions”.
Re-admitted students, who are graduating at the end of the term
You will file for graduation on Access.SMU. To receive permission for this process, contact Jim Dees. You need to do this at the beginning of the term. You must also complete a degree plan and fax to 214-768-3778 or email to Jim Dees.
You will be mailed a password to use the ACCESS.smu.edu on-line information system but initial enrollment will be performed by Janis Jessen. The password, combined with a student’s 8 digit ID number will allow you to log on to ACCESS.smu.edu to check your registration status, look up grades (grades are no longer mailed), change your address and phone number, register for class for future terms, and to check for any holds.

Meningitis Vaccincation Requirement
In accordance with Texas state law, all students under the age of 22 must be vaccinated against bacterial meningitis at least 10 days prior to attending any on campus or weekend format classes.
