Vijay Soundararajan, Ph.D. candidate of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and a research assistant of the Research Center for Advanced Manufacturing, has been awarded the $25,000 American Welding Society Graduate fellowship Grant for the 2005 – 2006 academic year.
