Research Objectives:
- To explorer an application for digital design and additive manufacturing (AM) in personalization of sports products.
- To determine if the production based on AM of golf club heads is feasible for both iron and driver type club heads.
- Develop a design and manufacturing process to meet the personalization demands of customers.
- To develop internal structures in golf club heads to optimize the performance.
- To develop a test club to experimentally obtain information about the orientation of the club head during the golf swing.
- Analyze and optimize dynamic & aerodynamic efficiency of club heads
