Carol Primdahl

Carol Primdahl is a Quality Director for Texas Instruments, one of the world’s leading electronics companies focused on advanced semiconductor technologies. She manages worldwide quality operations for TI’s emerging medical components business.

She joined TI in 1986 and has held a wide variety of positions including WW Operational Quality Manager and Quality Manager for TI’s first 300mm Wafer Fab Factory. Carol has been instrumental in implementing proactive quality programs such as Process Change Control, Quality-in Tools, Ramp Risk Assessment program, Quality Alert System as well as Outlier programs.

Carol attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree and completed a Masters in Science in 2000. As an alumni, she has actively participated as a member of SMU’s CSE Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) since 2003 and co-chair of the executive advisory committee (ExCom) since November 2004.

Over the years, she has volunteered for the Women’s Center of Dallas, Dallas BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology, Expanding your Horizons, MentorNet and the International Women’s Forum. Carol and her husband, John, enjoy traveling overseas to learn about different cultures and see historical sites. To date, they have visited over 50 countries and still counting.
