Le Gruenwald is a Program Director at the National Science Foundation. She is also the David W. Franke Professor and Director of the School of Computer Science at University of Oklahoma. She has published over 140 research articles and she is currently the area editor of the Encyclopedia of Database Systems and co-editor of IEEE Computing – the Special Issue on Data Stream Management. She has received many awards and honors including the Presidential Professorship Award from OU and the National Residence Hall Awards for Outstanding Leadership, Scholarship, and Service.
