Computer Science and Engineering Team Takes 2nd Place at Cyber Defense Competition
A team from the Lyle CSE Department shocked the competition at  the Southwest Regional of the NCCDC (National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition) presented by Deloitte.

John Forrest is the first Lyle undergraduate student to be awarded Departmental Distinction for his research on data stream mining.

Michael Bunnell graduated from SMU Lyle in 1985 and now has a 2010 Sci-Tech “Oscar” for his work in the field of computer animation.
