CSE at SMU is a research-oriented, student-centered department. The department promotes world-class research with absolute commitment to excellence in teaching. Alumnus DasSarma Named AMD Fellow
AMD has annouced that Debjit DasSarma (Ph.D. 1995 in CSE at SMU) has been named an AMD Fellow. This award acknowledged his service of over one and a half decades to the arithmetic unit design community.
CSE to Have New Home in Fall 2009
CSE is excited about its Fall 2009 home, the new Caruth Hall, which is slated to open in December 2009 and will be the second Lyle School building to meet LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Standards.
