Admission and Completion Requirements
To be eligible for enrollment, prospective students must have an undergraduate degree in engineering or science, or five years of directly relevant professional experience (plus permission of the program director).

The professional certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the courses listed with a grade of B or better in each course. The courses must be completed within three years of admission into the program.

Credit hours earned in this course may count toward graduate degree requirements.

Admission Requirements for Certificate in Sustainability
Students must have a Bachelor's degree.

Students who complete the professional certificate and meet other admissions requirements can later apply for admission as a degree-seeking student in one of the graduate degree programs. For those students admitted to a graduate degree program, the courses taken to complete the professional certificate may count toward the graduate degree requirements.

GPA Requirements: Students must complete the courses with a GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
