Mick Mancuso has been in the computer industry for over 22 years. He started out at Strategic Simulations, Inc. working as programmer and level designer on the Gold Box series of AD&D games. At Spectrum HoloByte/MicroProse, he designed the campaign and helped program the multiplayer aspects of the classic flight-sim Electronic Battlefield Series – Falcon 3.0, Mig29 and Hornet. As a producer/designer, he led the team that brought us MechWarrior 3, for which he received the Origin Award in Design for best Computer Action Game of 1999, and MechWarrior 3: Pirates Moon.
As a producer, Mick has worked extensively in the Serious Games field, producing and designing training games for the US Army, the Singapore Armed Forces, FDIC and Northrop-Grumman. He was the Executive Producer for The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth 2: The Rise of the Witch-king and for Command and Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath.
Mick has a BA in Theater from Colorado State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Washington. He was a professional actor for many years before switching to computer games. He loves history, science, fiction of all genres and has been playing games since he was old enough to understand what dice and cards meant.
