Baccalaureate Service, McFarlin Auditorium

The Baccalaureate Service will take place on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. in McFarlin Auditorium.

Guest tickets are required for admittance to the Baccalaureate ceremony for undergraduate degree candidates held in McFarlin Auditorium. All undergraduate candidates are entitled to two tickets for their guests. Tickets are not required for the simulcast of the Baccalaureate service in the Theater of Hughes-Trigg Student Center.

Additional tickets for the Baccalaureate service in McFarlin Auditorium are not available. We ticket Baccalaureate to assure that each undergraduate candidate can have at least two guests in attendance to this religious service, which is intended to be a smaller ceremony for candidates and their guests.

Please see Tickets page for details on how students may make requests for their two Baccalaureate tickets.

Guests without Tickets
Guests without tickets may wait in a queue for any seats in McFarlin that may become available. The queue line will be formed beginning at 6:45 p.m. on the sidewalk at the south corner of the front steps to McFarlin. In the event of rain, the queue will be formed in the lower lobby of McFarlin. At approximately 7:35 p.m., non-ticketed guests in the queue waiting for available seats will be permitted to choose a seat among those that are vacant on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, a live simulcast of the Baccalaureate service will be offered in the Theatre of the Hughes-Trigg Student Center. Guests without a ticket may attend the simulcast; a shuttle cart will run between McFarlin Auditorium and Hughes-Trigg. Elderly guests or guests with children often choose to attend the simulcast due to the ease of entering and exiting the building for the Rotunda Recessional.

You may enter McFarlin Auditorium using the ramp on the southeast side of the building, off of McFarlin Boulevard. Ushers will be available for assistance.
