2001 'M' Award

Randy Phillips began working at SMU in 1971 attending to areas that included academic advising, student services, registration systems, and records.  Given Dedman College's centrality to the University, he was pleased to be asked  to join the staff of the Dean's Office in 1982.  His primary responsibilities currently include oversight and support of the College's classrooms, labs, and office space, classroom technology, course evaluations, graduation ceremonies, and safety issues in the College.  Randy has received SMU's M Award and the Loretta O'Reilly Hawkins Award for Staff Excellence.  A private pilot and avid fly-fisherman, he relaxes playing a Fender "Strat."
