WLL Tech Center

WLL Technology Center

The World Languages and Literatures Technology Center was opened as the Foreign Language Laboratory on September 20, 1965. Over the past forty years, the lab has evolved into a technology center, with computers and flat-screens replacing reel-to-reel machines and record players. The current Tech Center is housed in Clements Hall, room 234, and is equipped with both Mac and PC computers and exam proctoring options for make-ups and extended time for quizzes/exams. The center also provides an audiovisual center capable of showing movies from all regions of the world, a comfortable space for class meetings, reading and studying, and a newly-remodeled conference room (Clements 228) which can be reserved for both faculty and student use. Over 2000 student visits to the WLTTC are recorded each semester.

The Center is open to both class and individual student use. For more information, or to schedule a reservation in either the Tech Center or the conference room, please email Elise Howard.
