My research focuses on the application of recent advances in statistical methods to psychological research. New tools for statistical analysis allow us to answer questions we never could address before. In particular, I am interested in applying hierarchical linear modeling and structural equation modeling to longitudinal data analysis. My goal is to use these tools to allow us to understand theprocesses, whichdrive individual change over time. Once we understand the factors that are truly responsible for change, we can design more effective treatments and interventions.

In the summers I love to wake surf and to go on long hikes in the mountains of Colorado. In the winter, I opt for snow skiing, some golf, and movie-watching.
