Graduate students in psychology at SMU have the opportunity to learn from a nationally recognized faculty of committed researchers and dedicated teachers. In the research area, the faculty is very productive; over 200 papers have been published in peer-reviewed journals, and over $5 million in grant funds have been obtained in the past five years. The Psychology Department faculty has won numerous awards for teaching excellence, conferred by the University and the student body.
