I study the relationships between people and animals in North America's past. This work is mostly within the context of arid environments such as the Great Plains and Snake River Plain. For my dissertation, I aim to explore the Great Plains hunting economies that existed during the hyper-arid Middle Holocene period (8000-5000 years ago).
