All SMU undergraduate degrees are built to fit into a four year graduation plan. However, students have multiple goals and many undergraduate students want to include additional opportunities to their baccelaurate studies. At minimum, Advisors help students learn to create a flexible and personalized degree plan. They not only assist students in understanding the Degree Progress Report (DPR) and in scheduling courses, they often serve as the best campus resource that a new student could have.
After your initial AARO appointment make future advising appointments by going to your advisor's office, sign up on the calendar( attached to the office door!)
