High school students who are interested in obtaining a BBA from SMU Cox work with SMU’s Office of Admission to complete their SMU application for admission and for general admission questions. First-year applicants should submit the SMU application for admission to the Office of Admission by November 1 (early action or early decision I) or January 15 (regular decision or early decision II). After being admitted to SMU, students can be admitted to the Cox School of Business in one of three ways: by invitation prior to enrolling at SMU as a member of the BBA Scholars Program or Business Direct Program or by completing the regular business school admission requirements while at SMU (normally in the sophomore year). To ensure consideration for the BBA Scholars Program (and business scholarships) or Business Direct, students must list a business major as their first academic interest on the SMU application for admission.
