Who Should Take the SMU GMAT Test Prep Class?

The SMU GMAT Prep class is ideal for anyone looking to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other business-related advanced degree within the next five years. The live-online classes are instructor-led and meet at specified times. The entire class is delivered online. The GMAT course covers the Math, Verbal, Integrated Reasoning, and Analytical Writing sections of the GMAT. By combining the visual, auditory, and tactile learning strategies used by adults, the course offers participants the opportunity to dissect each component of the GMAT and identify the factors, patterns, and strategies required to achieve a high score on the questions in that component. In-class exercises are provided so that course participants can move from theory to practice and enhance their capabilities. There are no grades given during the course and homework is recommended but not required. The "final grade" in the course is the participant's numerical performance on the GMAT. You will learn easy-to-use strategies to tackle each question format. Strategies for working problems without a calculator and strategies for using your answer choices to solve the problem will be emphasized. Word problems will be continuously discussed throughout the course.
