SMU engaged a team of architects, planners, and specialized consultants to develop a Campus Master Plan. The resulting Centennial Master Plan provides a framework for future development consistent with the architectural vision best represented by Dallas Hall and Bishop Boulevard.
The Centennial Master Plan was driven by the following objectives:
- Establish a plan for facilities growth
- Maintain Collegiate Georgian architectural integrity
- Define campus edges and points of entry
- Reinforce the pedestrian character of the campus
- Enhance the area and quality of landscaping
- Improve campus navigation
Southern Methodist University currently maintains three campuses; click on each link to view the current Campus Master Plan for each campus: Dallas, TX; Plano, TX; and Taos, NM.
