Maintaining a non-hostile work environment is everyone's responsibility. SMU is committed to providing a workplace free of any form of harassment. The University expressly prohibits harassment of its students, faculty or staff or of applicants who seek to join the University.
In keeping with this commitment, SMU has arranged for every employee to participate in an online tutorial titled "Preventing Sexual Harassment". This program outlines the current law and the University's policies and procedures for reporting it.
This tutorial should be completed within the first ninety days of employment with the University.
