Who Is Eligible For a Screening?
Benefit-eligible staff and faculty may obtain a free onsite health screening which are typically offered in the spring and fall semesters. If you are a benefit-eligible employee, you will receive an email inviting you to register online for an upcoming appointment. The screening process, provided by Baylor Health Care System, includes an onsite biometric screening, followed by an online health questionnaire. When completed together, the screening and questionnaire provide you a more complete picture of your basic health risks and help you create a realistic wellness plan.
Screening Schedule
Screenings will be available again the last two weeks of January in several locations including Expressway Tower, Hughes-Trigg Student Center, and our Plano campus.

Alternatives to the On-Campus Health Screening
Wellpower offers two alternatives to the on-campus health screening including going to your own physician for a full physical or completing your screening through Baylor's Dallas Diagnostic Association in Park Cities. If you miss the screenings or simply want to obtain your screening elsewhere, you are welcome to do so.
Alternatives to the On-Campus Screening
Online Health Risk Questionnaire (HRQ)
In addition to the health screening, you will be asked to complete an online health risk questionnaire. Instructions for the HRQ will be provided at the screenings or via email. To earn the 20% deductible discount in 2014, you must complete both the HRQ and provide biometric data either via a screening or using your recent lab results.
NOTE: Both steps must be completed by November 29, 2013 to earn the deductible discount for 2014.
Naturally Slim Program
The
Naturally Slim program is usually offered during the spring semester. The program is available by attending a class on campus or by completing an online version of the program. Applicants for the program must have recent health screening data to submit to the Naturally Slim program as part of the application. Participation in on-campus health screenings is the easiest way to get that data conveniently and at no cost. The Naturally Slim program is offered free to those who are accepted and complete the program.
