Student DART Pass Information
Students must be enrolled for the 2017 spring semester to be eligible for the DART GoPass. As a benefit of enrollment at SMU, students may obtain an Annual DART Local Pass for a one-time fee of $5.00 charged to their my.SMU.edu account. Currently enrolled students may renew their annual DART GoPass at no cost by having the previous year transit pass on record on their parking account. Currently only the GoPass for smart phone use is available and can be ordered by filling out the request form below.
Please note: New students must wait 24 hours after enrollment to be eligible for the DART GoPass. Orders cannot be processed without a current photo on your ID card account prior to ordering your DART GoPass Phone App.
Lost or Stolen Passes:
The corporate pro-rated replacement cost of a lost or stolen DART Transit Pass is the responsibility of the card holder. Contact the Parking and ID Card Services Office for details at 214-768-7275 or email email@example.com
To request the free GoPass Phone App fill out the DART Request Order Form below. Please register your Iphone or Android with DART at www.gopass.biz.
Duplicate orders will not be processed.
All orders are processed by the Parking & ID Card Services Office then submitted to DART for final processing.
Annual DART Local Passes are good on all DART trains and buses, including FLEX and DART On-Call, Trinity Railway Express between Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station.
Annual DART Regional Passes are good on all DART trains and buses, including FLEX and DART On-Call, Trinity Railway Express, the T in Ft. Worth and Denton County Transportation Authority trains and buses.
DART passes are valid for the calendar year, January 1st through December 31st.
