Notes

  • Guest Borrowers have the option to pay online for Bridwell Associate card memberships and card renewals. You will still be required to bring in appropriate documentation so that you can receive your card and we can update your information Click here to make a payment.
  • Bridwell Library audio-visual materials circulate for three days with no renewals. All other materials will be automatically renewed unless they are recalled by other patrons or the library.
  • Guest Borrowers are not eligible to place hold/recall requests or to receive interlibrary loan services.
  • A valid SWATLA card (including a future expiration date, an authorizing signature, and a personal identification number) and a photo ID are required to establish an account at SMU and borrow materials.
  • A valid TexShare card from the borrower's institution and a photo ID are required to establish an account at SMU and borrow materials.

*Borrowed materials may be recalled, resulting in a shorter loan period.
