Favorite thing about SMU: The excellent balance between academic strength and personal growth opportunities really stands out to me. SMU is located in a nurturing and comfortable environment, and students are ideally challenged by professors in preparation for real-world experiences. This is just a great place to be!
Favorite place on campus: Dallas Hall; the view from the front steps looking south is amazing! You can see Dedman Quad, the Boulevard, and the Dallas skyline in the background.
Favorite place in Dallas: The Dallas Arboretum near White Rock Lake
Favorite restaurant near campus: Toss-up between Campisi’s on Mockingbird or Café Madrid off of Knox-Henderson
What I recommend during your stay in Dallas: Definitely go downtown to see the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas World Aquarium, Sixth Floor Museum, or catch a Mavericks game at the American Airlines Center!
