Nancy Skochdopole is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Wellesley College and a Master of Education in administration, planning and social policy from Harvard University. Nancy is a proud SMU Mustang, and in her nine years with the University she has served as a degree counselor, academic advisor, academic ceremonies coordinator and assistant registrar.
In her current position as Director of Transfer and Transition Services, Nancy has the privilege of working with transfer students from the recruiting and admission stage all the way through to graduation. She is available to help with the articulation of transfer credits and transfer student services on campus and works closely with the registrar, bursar, financial aid and academic advising offices. Her goal is that all transfer students make a smooth transition to their new University home.
