The SMU Career Center can help you chart your path toward success. Services cover everything from career counseling, assessment, and résumé writing to placement in internships, which can be paid or unpaid and some offer academic credit. The Career Center hosts a variety of specialized career fairs for business and technology, nonprofit opportunities, advertising, communications, and the liberal arts and sciences.
SMU students also have access to job opportunities nationwide, thanks to regular campus visits by companies like American Airlines, Eli Lilly and Company and the top management accounting firms. And the Office of Alumni Relations offers an Alumni Career Network to connect students with SMU’s active and engaged alumni across the nation.
